Every Halloween, one of the Hudson Valley's grandest Gothic Revival mansions becomes something more familiar to horror fans: Collinwood, the haunted estate of Dark Shadows. Lyndhurst Mansion stood in for the show's iconic home in both House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows, and each year it celebrates that legacy for the generations who've loved the cult classic.
This year marks the franchise's 60th anniversary, and Lyndhurst is throwing an all-day costume party on Saturday, October 31 with three distinct ways to experience the mansion as Collinwood — including a meet & greet with original star Kathryn Leigh Scott. Choose your adventure below.
