Rockefeller State Park’s 45 miles of scenic crushed-stone trails are wide and easy to walk or run. John D. Rockefeller Sr. and Jr. laid out the trail system as carriage roads in the first half of the 20th century. Designed to complement the landscape, the roads wind past a lake, through dense woodlands and rolling pastures, and along the Pocantico River. All proceeds of the race go toward maintenance of the trails, keeping them safe and open for all!
