Barley on the Hudson, 226 Green Street, Tarrytown, NY 10591, 914-909-5724. This seasonal waterfront outpost of The Barley House resides at the Tarrytown Boat Club across from the Tarrytown train station. There's a wide array of beer on tap plus an outdoor kitchen and grill. It's a great spot to watch the sunset over the Hudson River! Look for their wildly popular Halloween Party in October!

Beekman Ale House, 92 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591, 845-827-3505. Opened in 2021, this new addition to the business district serves up satisfying  salads, a variety of wings and carefully curated pizzas alongside a lengthy draft beer list. In October, look for their Pumpkin Fest of special seasonal brews. The kitchen is open until 11 pm, to satisfy your late-night munchies.

Bridge View Tavern, 226 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, 914-332-0078. At least 15 beers on tap with an emphasis on craft and regional brews, including the local Captain Lawrence. Order up a beer flight to sample the best on tap! The seasonal outdoor beer garden is a local favorite, featuring a completely different set of draft beers as well as a special menu.

Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, 444 Saw Mill River Road, Elmsford, NY 10523, 914-741-BEER (2337). You’ll find Captain Lawrence on tap in many local restaurants. Stop by the brewery’s tasting room to sample your favorite, or some of the experimental beers available nowhere else. Trivia and bingo nights, live music. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

Demeter’s Tavern & Sportsbar, 51 Old White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY, 914-631-9679. Several beers on tap, plus pub food and sports channels running on 16 big-screen TVs. Bonus–there are ample USB charging ports for phones!

Guadalajara, 2 Union Street, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510, 914-944-4380. Popular Mexican restaurant with potent margaritas, lunch and dinner 7 days. While you can get classic TexMex fare here, explore the menu for seasonal produce and seafood.

Horsefeathers, 94 North Broadway, Tarrytown, 914-631-6606. Keep an eye out for Groucho, Harpo, and Chico as well as favorite authors on the wall mural. This popular gathering spot has had a devoted following since opening in 1981. There's an extensive list of bottled beer, a range of wine, and sidewalk seating in season. A cozy bar area has pub tables where you can sample a selection of finger food. Lunch and dinner.

There is a wide range of bottled and draft beer at this Irish pub in Sleepy Hollow’s business district, plus sports channels on 12 high-definition TVs. There’s an outdoor beer garden in warmer weather, often with live music. Classic pub offerings are local favorites! There's also a private room next door for larger gatherings.

Set Back Inn, 33 Main Street, Tarrytown, 914-631-9740. Named for its position between other buildings on Main Street, Set Back has been a local institution since 1959. There are several beers on tap and dozens more in bottles. Pool and darts, live music. But be aware–it’s cash only at this local watering hole. Open 7 days.

Sing Sing Kill Brewery, 75-77 Spring Street, Ossining, NY 10562, 914-502-0578. The family-friendly taproom features SSKB’s own brews as well as Hudson Valley ciders and Belgian-style beer from Tarrytown’s Duncan’s Abbey. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

The Tapp, 17 North Broadway, Tarrytown, 914-418-5454. Craft beers on tap. Lunch and dinner, kitchen open til 10 pm. Weekdays, bar is open to midnight, Friday and Saturday to 2 am. Trivia and comedy nights, live music.

Washington Irving Boat Club Restaurant and Lounge,, 238 Green Street, Tarrytown, 914-332-0517. Classic pub fare mixes with seafood at this popular waterfront restaurant. At the outdoor tiki bar there's live music all summer long. Linger for the sunsets over the Hudson River!
