Sweet Grass Grill is a casual farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of Tarrytown. The kitchen works with about a dozen local farms, so the menu changes week to week with the harvest. Expect seasonal soups and salads and a rotating lineup of entrees, with options for vegetarians and vegans alongside meat and fish dishes. The grass-fed burger and the restaurant’s baby roast chicken have been longtime favorites.
The bar was carved from a single fallen oak tree from the Rockefeller Preserve, and pours a cocktail menu, microbrews, and plenty of wines by the glass. Lunch is served on weekdays, brunch on weekends, and dinner nightly. Reservations are taken through Yelp, and pickup and delivery are available through Toast. The restaurant also hosts private events.
