Visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown
Where the Legend Lives
The Historical Society and Museum has been collecting, preserving, and celebrating the history of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow since 1889. The society’s annual Strawberry Festival is a hometown tradition, straight out of a Norman Rockwell illustration. Look for their popular historic walking tours in September and October.
There’s something for everyone in Sleepy Hollow Country—farmers markets, live music, street fairs, historic homes, hiking trails, kayaking and boating on the Hudson River. Halloween season brings even more for the whole family—haunted hayrides, blazing pumpkins, costumed 10K run, Halloween parade, and of course, the Headless Horseman!
