Where the Legend Lives
Revolutionary Westchester 250 strives to build awareness and excitement for the events, places, ideas and people—both the unsung and the famous—of the Revolutionary War period in Westchester County. It collaborates with local and regional groups—heritage and historic, art and cultural, and educational—as well as libraries, veterans’ organizations, municipalities, private businesses and others—to promote heritage tourism.
There’s something for everyone in the real Sleepy Hollow—farmers markets, live music, street fairs, historic homes, hiking trails, kayaking and boating on the Hudson River. Halloween season brings even more for the whole family—haunted hayrides, blazing pumpkins, costumed 5K run, Halloween parade, and of course, the Headless Horseman!
