Visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown
Where the Legend Lives
The 55th annual Historical Society strawberry festival is a hometown tradition! Come enjoy strawberry shortcake, ice cream, iced tea and lemonade on the society’s lawn. It’s like a Norman Rockwell scene: a sultry summer afternoon, neighbors gathered to listen musicians from the local school, and volunteers from the local Girl Scouts!
This is also the opening date of a new exhibition at the The Historical Society: From House Calls to Hospitals – Celebrating Local Medicine. The exhibit is indoors at the Jacob Odell House, 1 Grove Street, Tarrytown.
There’s something for everyone in Sleepy Hollow Country—farmers markets, live music, street fairs, historic homes, hiking trails, kayaking and boating on the Hudson River. Halloween season brings even more for the whole family—haunted hayrides, blazing pumpkins, costumed 10K run, Halloween parade, and of course, the Headless Horseman!
