Union Church of Pocantico Hills
Henri Matisse completed design of the rose window just days before his death.
Stained-glass windows by European masters, commissioned by the Rockefeller family, adorn this unassuming country church.
The church’s rose window was the last work by Henri Matisse before his death. Nine other stained glass windows were created by Marc Chagall in honor of various members of the Rockefeller family. Visitation is subject to congregation activities; hours may vary to accommodate weddings and funerals.
