Tarrytown Tree Lighting and Holiday Festivities

Patriots Park in Tarrytown comes alive on December 6 with the village’s annual Holiday Kickoff, a cozy, family-friendly celebration that blends the charm of the season with the community’s creative spirit. From 2 to 4 pm, children can enjoy a cheerful Santa meet-and-greet while families take part in hands-on Hanukkah crafts—an inviting mix of traditions. Just steps away, the TaSH Holiday Market opens at 2 pm, filling the park with the scents, colors, and textures of local makers and food vendors. Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, the market offers something special for every visitor.

As afternoon shifts toward evening, the celebration continues with performances by the Tarrytown Music Hall from 4 to 5:15 pm, adding music and energy to the gathering. The event culminates in the beloved Holiday Tree Lighting at 5 pm, when the park glows with twinkling lights and the crowd joins together in seasonal cheer.
