Todd Rundgren: Damned If I Do Tour

Rock and roll legend Todd Rundgren brings his Damned If I Do Tour to Tarrytown Music Hall for an unforgettable night with one of music’s most inventive and genre-defying artists. A multi-talented singer-songwriter and record producer, Rundgren began his career in the 1960s as a member of the psychedelic rock band Nazz before embarking on a celebrated solo career, becoming known for his innovative production techniques and ability to seamlessly blend genres including rock, pop, soul, and electronic music. Beloved for timeless hits like “Hello It’s Me” and “Bang the Drum All Day,” he has also produced landmark albums for Meat Loaf, XTC, and Hall & Oates, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Joining Rundgren on stage is a stellar backing band featuring keyboardist Gil Assayas, guitarist Bruce McDaniel, drummer Prairie Prince, horn player Bobby Strickland, and bassist Kasim Sulton, a former Utopia bandmate. Promising plenty of fan favorites, Rundgren says of the tour: “My audience is so diverse, I never know what they’re in the mood for — I want to make sure we have all the musical ammunition we need to satisfy the spectrum.”
