Where the Legend Lives
Hear Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk spin the haunting tales of the ghost surrounding the Headless Horseman and the galloping goblin’s origin story!
Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow have long hosted several famed spirits: Tragic Major Andre the spy who conspired with the traitorous Benedict Arnold, The Wailing Woman in White, Ship-sinking Imps on the Hudson River, Hulda the Witch of the American Revolution, and of course the iconic Headless Hessian!
Come listen to a dramatic telling of these ghostly tales at the church where Washington Irving worshipped.
Jonathan Kruk is a master storyteller best known for solo shows of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “A Christmas Carol”. He’s been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, The TODAY Show, and The Travel Channel.
Recommended for grades 4 and up. A few tickets will be available at the door.
Please note: this event is at Christ Church in Tarrytown, NOT the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow.
There’s something for everyone in the real Sleepy Hollow—farmers markets, live music, street fairs, historic homes, hiking trails, kayaking and boating on the Hudson River. Halloween season brings even more for the whole family—haunted hayrides, blazing pumpkins, costumed 5K run, Halloween parade, and of course, the Headless Horseman!
