SUP Witches Festival

Hundreds of costumed witches, warlocks, and wizards paddle the Hudson River off Kingsland Point Park in one of Sleepy Hollow’s signature Halloween traditions.

On shore, “Witches Hollow” brings live music, food, local brews, and vendors; on the water, a mass costumed paddle launches in the early afternoon for a group photo taken mid-river. It’s been covered by the New York Times and Smithsonian, and you don’t have to paddle to enjoy it — spectators are welcome all afternoon.

Festival tickets are $8 in advance, $10 on the day; kids under 8 free with an adult. Paddlers must pre-register by October 7 (from $35), come in costume, and bring a leash and PFD — previous paddle experience required.

Rain date: Sunday, October 11. All ages welcome.
