Visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown
Where the Legend Lives
Join this 3-mile sunset hike at Rockwood Hall for what the organizer hopes will be a spectacular view over the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Please dress according to weather conditions and bring water. Leashed dogs are welcome.
This hike is at Rockwood Hall, DO NOT go to the main Preserve entrance. The parking lot is on Kendal Way off route 117, just after the intersection of Phelps and Regeneron. If the lot is full, you may park in the Phelps garage (free).
Gather at the kiosk at the top of the hill across the street from the parking lot. Group steps off promptly at scheduled time.
There’s something for everyone in Sleepy Hollow Country—farmers markets, live music, street fairs, historic homes, hiking trails, kayaking and boating on the Hudson River. Halloween season brings even more for the whole family—haunted hayrides, blazing pumpkins, costumed 10K run, Halloween parade, and of course, the Headless Horseman!
