Visit Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown
Where the Legend Lives
It’s that time of year! Each spring season Makers Central comes out of its studio hibernation to transform into one giant artisanal walking market. It’s only a few times each year they invite the public into the workshop, but when they do, they go all out!
During this open studio weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to peruse unique collections of handmade ceramic, paper, wood, concrete, steel, fabric and floral creations. Not only that, you’ll get to learn about the kilns, printing presses, forges, and lathes that are used each day to craft these beautiful works of functional art right here in Tarrytown.
While you’re here, sample beer or bourbon from favorite local breweries and distilleries. Each of the two market dates feature fellow makers who focus on the more drinkable and edible crafts. From beer to bread, coffee to bourbon, there’s lots to explore and taste!
