You’re Dead to Me: The EULOGY edition of the Sleepy Hollow Show & Tell

A weird and wonderful storytelling night returns to Sleepy Hollow! Now in its fifth round, Sleepy Hollow Show & Tell brings neighbors and strangers together to share cherished objects and the stories behind them, open-mic style, in the cozy, historic setting of the Hudson Valley Writers Center. This installment carries a Eulogy theme: bring a memento tied to someone (or something) you’ve said goodbye to — a beloved pet, a departed loved one, a chapter of your own past — along with a five-minute story to share. The theme is loose enough for creative interpretation, but the object is the heart of it: no show-and-tell is complete without the “show.”

Spots for storytellers are first-come, first-served and limited to 15 presenters, so early reservations are encouraged. Audience members are welcome too — come for an intimate evening of memory, mirth, and a little Sleepy Hollow magic. A pop-up shop with books and artisanal goods will also be set up outside in the Shadowbox truck (cash or Venmo).
