Where the Legend Lives
Discover the location of the capture of Revolutionary War spy Major John Andre. Hear the story about this moment in history, which played a crucial role in the American victory. View the monument to the three local captors of Andre at Patriots Park. Walk along the Old Croton Aqueduct and hear the history of the Aqueduct that brought water to a thirsty NYC in 1842. Optional stop at the nearby Historical Society for a short visit to the museum to see artifacts relating to the Capture of Andre. Return to the starting point of the walk.
