In 2021, Guitarist and composer Nelson Riveros made his Zoho Music debut release titled the Latin Side of Wes Montgomery.
The CD reached #2 on Jazz Week and was the #7 most played Jazz CD of the Top 100 in the US last year.
His group performed this music at their CD release at Jazz Forum in 2021. Nelson has performed with Hector Martignon, John Benitez, Samuel Torres, Jeff Tain Watts, Regina Carter. He just finished his Masters Degree at NJCU.
This time Nelson brings his Brazilian and Latin Quartet to the Jazz Forum to perform some new original Brazilian based compositions, Brazilian music classics as well as some Latin Jazz material with Spanish vocals: Nelson Riveros on guitar, compositions, vocals, Hector Martignon on piano, Eduardo Belo on bass & TBA on drums!
