Where the Legend Lives
Jeremy Denk is known for his musicianship and his eloquent discussions of classical music. Winner of a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and author of the recently-published memoir “Every Good Boy Does Fine,” Denk will be making his third appearance at the Friends of Music concert series.
One of America’s foremost pianists, he appears often at Carnegie Hall, and has performed frequently with major orchestras around the country. A New York Times reviewer wrote: “Mr. Denk, clearly, is a pianist you want to hear, no matter what he performs.” His performances often include lively discussions of the compositions he performs.
