Hulda’s Night at Rockefeller State Park Preserve

October 27, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$28

Hulda’s Night at Rockefeller State Park Preserve is like nothing else you’ve ever experienced. Step back in time on this very special night in the woods of the real Sleepy Hollow!

You walk through the gathering gloom, your path lit only by lanterns. The dark woods surround you as the chill night air settles in.

Your group joins a traveler around his fire and listens to local legends. He is The Storyteller. But your journey has only begun and you must not tarry. Up Old Gory Brook Road trail, amidst the boulders, Domine Johannes Ritzema, Pastor of the Old Dutch Church in 1775, waits to tell you the struggles of holding a congregation together during the time of war and of the witch living near by and threatening his flock

The coyotes sing as the moon rises and reminds your group that it is time for the last part of your journey. As you trek down to the Witch’s Spring trail, in the distance the magical fairy lights tell you that you are nearing Hulda’s Hut and the “witch” awaits you! Here you sit in hand-carved seats made from the very trees that surround you, on the site where Hulda’s home may have actually stood nearly 250 years ago. And you hear Hulda herself tell her story.

2022 dates: October 19-22 and October 26-29. Two sessions per night: 6 pm and 7 pm.

Cost: $28. Tickets will go on sale September 5, 2022 at 10am.
