Full Moon Hike: “Harvest Moon”

Experience Rockefeller State Park Preserve after dark for this 4-mile hike on carriage roads lit by moonlight. You will walk at a brisk pace; some hiking experience is recommended.

Meet in the Rockefeller State Park Preserve Visitor’s Center courtyard. Please bring water, a flashlight or headlamp, and dress according to weather conditions. Leashed dogs are welcome.

IMPORTANT: This is a night hike, after the park has officially closed. Latecomers will not be able to join after the group has departed.

In the event of rain, the hike will be canceled; you will be notified via email at least 2 hours in advance.

Max: 40 people.

This hike is part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble, an annual event series that celebrates the history, culture and natural resources of our area.
