Christ Church Christmas Concert and Holiday Market
Annual Christmas Concert and Holiday Market. Enjoy performances by the Choir of Christ Church San Marcos and other musical performers! Feast on bake sale items and shop the gift sale.
Doors open at 2 pm for the holiday market.
Washington Irving, author of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” followed the Rev. Dr. William Creighton to this church from Zion Episcopal in Dobbs Ferry. Irving was a vestryman, warden, Sunday School teacher, and regular parishioner at Christ Church until his death in 1859. The ivy on the church walls is from cuttings taken at Irving’s home, Sunnyside, and his pew is still marked in the front of the sanctuary.
