Event Series: Makers Market

Holiday Makers Market

December 22, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Free

Don’t miss the 4th annual Shop Small Makers Market!

Makers Central is a shared studio space in the heart of Tarrytown whose mission is to build a collaborative, productive work environment where like-minded maker businesses flourish. This is a community of members who focus on handmade, functional goods for home and hospitality.

For two weekends each holiday season they transform the studio into a giant artisanal walking market, inviting a whole slew of like-minded local businesses to bring our guests the very best handmade shopping shopping experience. It’s but a few times each year that they invite the public into their workshop like this, but when they do, they make sure it’s worth it!

During this open studio, you’ll peruse through unique collections of handmade ceramic, paper, wood, concrete, leather, steel, fabric, floral & food creations. Not only that, you’ll get to learn about the kilns, printing presses, forges, lathes and unique processes that are put to use each day to craft these beautiful works of functional art right here in Tarrytown.

While you’re at it, try a sample of beer or bourbon from local breweries or distilleries. From beer to bread, coffee to bourbon, there will be lots to explore and taste!
