About the series

Jazz Forum Arts presents 32 free outdoor summer concerts across five regular venues along the Hudson River: Dobbs Ferry, Lyndhurst, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Ossining, July 5th to August 25th, 6:30-8pm in all locations.
The performers include emerging and established artists, and groups ranging from trios and quartets to a full jazz orchestra.
JFA brings top quality, live jazz music to wide audiences throughout the New York metropolitan area and is committed to the appreciation and understanding of this distinctly American art form.
The Artists
As of May 10, the 2023 lineup for Jazz at Lyndhurst has not been announced. The 2022 season featured these talented performers backed by beautiful Hudson River sunsets!

Fukushi Tainaka Organ Quartet
Master drum player Fukushi Tainaka is one of the best-known Japanese jazz musician of his generation.

Peter Hand Quintet
Guitarist, composer and arranger, Hand leads his own big band, 10 piece band and smaller combos.

Dave Schumacher & Cubeye
Cubeyé fuses Jazz, Afro-Cuban and Afro-Boricuan elements.

Mike Holober Quintet
Trained as a classical pianist and conductor, Holober began his apprenticeship as a jazz pianist and composer in 1986.

Hannah Marks
Hannah Marks is a bassist, bandleader, composer, and educator living in New York City

Deborah Mia Shelton – Brazilian Group
Deborah Mia Shelton is a jazz and devotional vocalist and music educator

Nat Reeves Quartet
For 36 years Nat Reeves has been one of the top bassists in jazz.

Houston Person Quartet
American jazz tenor saxophonist and record producer.

The schedule
The grounds open at 4 pm, music begins at 6:30 pm. Bring blankets or low-profile lawn chairs. Picnicking is encouraged!
Lyndhurst has also partnered with local caterer Geordane’s for preordered food and to-snacks during each show. Wine will be available to purchase ahead of time from MySherry &more Inc ONLY alongside the purchase of food. Please let Geordane’s know that you have also ordered beverages when you place your picnic order. Jimmy’s Soft Serve will also be in attendance!
$10 per person grounds access fee. No charge for children under 10.
In the event of rain, cancellations will be posted by 2:00 p.m. on the day of each concert at https://lyndhurst.org and https://jazzforumarts.org. Always be prepared for a pop-up thunderstorm!

Sunset Jazz returns to the West Lawn of the gothic revival Lyndhurst mansion. Watch the sun set over the Hudson River while listening to top jazz performers!
