SUMMARY:Paint a Headless Horseman with Heather Gleason
DESCRIPTION:Join Halloween artist Heather Gleason as she teaches you the step-by-step process of painting your own Headless Horseman Painting! Each participant will receive a 11 x 14″ prepared canvas panel\, brushes and acrylic paints to create their very own artwork. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! \nHeather will work with everyone\, mingling about and showing techniques. No two paintings will be alike as each participant will add their own unique details. Light snacks and drinks will be served. Everyone will leave with their very own special artwork and a spooktacular gift handmade by Heather. Have fun painting while supporting the historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and its residents. \nThe class itself takes place in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery’s chapel. Seats are limited and sell out quickly! Have fun painting while supporting the historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and its residents. \n\nPaint a Headless Horseman is just one stop on Sleepy Hollow Cemetery’s 2026 special-events calendar. This fall\, you can also catch dramatic readings of Dracula\, Frankenstein\, Jekyll & Hyde\, and The Time Machine; step into an interactive Murder Mystery inspired by Washington Irving’s most famous tale; sip Champagne Cocktails with the Dead among the cemetery’s grandest mausoleums; and toast the eccentric poet Francis Saltus Saltus at his graveside. See the full lineup and reserve your seats at sleepyhollowcemetery.org/special-events.
