DESCRIPTION:Soak up the beauty of this 174-year old cemetery while your guide regales you with stories of the fascinating people resting here in peace. \nThis two-hour daytime walk is the perfect way “to have a colloquy among the tombs” as Washington Irving\, famous author of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”\, did himself back in 1849. \nYou’ll pay homage to the great author\, stop by some of the most interesting monuments in the old section before heading north to visit the final resting places of two-term Chicago Mayor Walter Gurnee\, steel titan Andrew Carnegie\, oilman William Rockefeller\, two people vital to the success of Wells Fargo and American Express\, and much more. SUMMARY:Birding at Rockefeller State Park Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Rockefeller State Park Preserve together with adjoining private lands is one of the largest undeveloped tracts of land in Westchester County. With its mix of woodlands\, fields\, wetlands and a lake\, the Preserve supports a diversity of species\, especially birds. Come find out why the National Audubon Society has designated this an Important Bird Area. A hint: nearly 200 bird species have been spotted here! Our local Audubon chapter\, Saw Mill River Audubon\, regularly leads small group bird walks here. Group sizes are limited\, registration is required. They are good for all levels of birding experience and beginners are very welcome! Walks are for adults and youth age 8 or older. Let the society know in advance if you want to borrow binoculars by emailing them at: office@sawmillriveraudubon.org

SUMMARY:Tusk - The World's #1 Fleetwood Mac Tribute
DESCRIPTION:Tusk is the number one Tribute to Fleetwood Mac in the world\, bar none. No wigs\, no backing tracks\, no gimmicks\, just five musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating. \n\nTusk covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac\, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood\, Christine and John McVie\, Lindsey Buckingham\, Stevie Nicks and others over the years. The five seasoned\, well-respected musicians comprising Tusk have been making music together in various combinations and styles\, in original outfits and in cover bands\, for over twenty-five years. It seemed only fitting that they should come together to form the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute\, and pay homage to a group that dominated the charts during the band members’ formative years. Authentic-sounding and always respectful\, Tusk leaves no stone unturned in replicating the sounds of one of the world’s best-loved\, top-selling bands.

SUMMARY:Lyndhurst Tours
DESCRIPTION:Lyndhurst\, one of America’s finest Gothic Revival mansions\, overlooks the Hudson River in Tarrytown\, NY. The estate was shaped for more than a century by three families and their staff: The Pauldings\, The Merritts\, and the Goulds. In late September\, the mansion transforms for the Halloween season with special collections and decorations out on display. The site closes in November as the mansion changes to the splendor of the Holiday season and re-opens the Friday after Thanksgiving for tours\, which run until the end of December. \n\nClassic Mansion Tour: Great for first-time visitors. Your visit covers the two main floors of the house.\nUpstairs/Downstairs Tour: Covers the main floors of the mansion with the addition of the backstairs and service spaces.\nInside/Outside Tour: Covers the main floors of the mansion\, then progresses through recently restored “outdoor rooms” in the rockeries\, rare trees\, gardens and outbuildings.\nLyndhurst Ramble Tour: In celebration of the Hudson River Valley Ramble\, a two- walking tour of the historic estate.\nDaily Grounds Pass: Enjoy the landscape; no tour\, no entry to mansion.\n\nLocation: Lyndhurst is a 67-acre estate\, with 15 individual buildings. All tour ticket holders should check in at the Carriage House Welcome Center\, where all tours begin. The Welcome Center is only open on days that tours are running. Parking is available on-site in designated areas. Please refer to their website for up-to-date information on events\, tour schedules\, closures\, and guidelines about visiting.
