SUMMARY:Octagon House Classic Tour

Finally\, the tour will continue inside the house with an interior tour of the first\, second and third floors\, which retain their magnificent ornamentation and furnishings. \nTimed tours only\, last tour of the day starts at 4 pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance. \nThe Octagon House is a private residence. SUMMARY:Candlebox - Wolves Tour 2022
DESCRIPTION:Touring in support of their new album Wolves\, the Seattle rock band went quadruple-platinum with their 1993 self-titled debut on Madonna’s Maverick Records and released two more acclaimed albums (1995’s Lucy and 1998’s Happy Pills). The singles “Far Behind\,” “You” and “Cover Me\,” became ubiquitous fan and radio favorites. \n\nThrow out any preconceived notions you may have about who Candlebox is. Wolves\, the band’s seventh album which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Chart\, is rife with brutal lyrical honesty and songs that run the gamut from dirty rock stompers to timeless\, radio-ready pop-rock tunes. Wolves captures the live energy of a band embracing all its influences and coalescing them down into the most potent form. “These are songs that I love that the band loved. We didn’t stop ourselves from recording anything if we dug it; we allowed each  song to dictate to us what it needed musically\, instrumentally\,” explains singer Kevin Martin. Wolves is a modern rock album that also contains “that really sparkly acoustic\, Radiohead kind of dreamy guitar and ethereal stuff; we pulled from everything that inspired us\, from Neil Young to brand-new bands.”

SUMMARY:Octagon House Classic Tour
DESCRIPTION:The Armour-Stiner Octagon House\, a registered National Historic Landmark\, was created as a summer retreat by tea-importer Joseph Stiner. Its shape was based on the theories of Orson Squire Fowler\, a phrenologist\, who believed octagonal houses enclosed more space\, allowed the sun in at all times\, and permitted more views into the landscape. \nThe tour includes a brief history of specimen plants original to the property\, the carefully restored Lord and Burnham greenhouse\, the wonderfully romantic foxglove garden\, (shaped in the exact size and footprint of the house itself!)\, and the charming Octagonal birdhouse\, (a scaled-down replica of the house). Visitors will also experience the house’s wrap-around veranda that offers 360-degree views of the lush landscape\, as well as particular architectural details which relate specifically to native plants and foliage of the grounds. In exchange for the opportunity to experience this one-of-a-kind historic home\, all visitors must follow house rules.

SUMMARY:Napoleon Dynamite - Film Screening & Conversation with Jon Heder\, Efren Ramirez & Jon Gries
DESCRIPTION:This unique evening includes a full screening of “Napoleon Dynamite” followed by a lively\, freewheeling\, moderated discussion with fan-favorite cast members; Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite)\, Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico). \nThe beloved indie classic “Napoleon Dynamite” was made almost almost 20 years ago. Since then much has changed; but the characters\, as enduring as they are endearing\, stay in our hearts. Appealing to the inner-teenager in each of us\, the story\, and more importantly the dialogue\,makes “Napoleon Dynamite” one of the most quoted movies of our time. Napoleon Dynamite makes us laugh – and laugh hard – over and over again.
