SUMMARY:Watchhouse - Special Duo Set with special guest Yasmin Williams
DESCRIPTION:Over a year after Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz of Watchhouse (formerly known as Mandolin Orange) reintroduced themselves on their 2021 self-titled LP\, the pair shared a special surprise release: Watchhouse (Duo)\, a self-produced recording of Marlin and Frantz performing the most elemental possible arrangements of all nine songs from Watchhouse. It’s a project that captures the fundamental power of Watchhouse: Two singers and musicians with profound chemistry\, performing earnest yet masterfully crafted songs that encompass the unknowable mysteries\, existential heartbreak\, and communal joys of modern life. \nStarting over a decade ago playing coffee shops and local restaurants around North Carolina\, Watchhouse is a grassroots success story that’s been driven by Marlin’s poignant songwriting. They’ve sold out iconic venues (Red Rocks\, Ryman Auditorium) and attract hundreds of millions of streams while producing exploratory music that “redefines roots music for a younger generation” (Washington Post). \n2022 was filled with many endeavors including the American Acoustic Tour with Punch Brothers\, headlining shows across the US\, collaborating with Planet Bluegrass on Mabon\, an autumn equinox concert series\, and of course Watchhouse (Duo). In 2023\, Marlin and Frantz will celebrate the release of Watchhouse (Duo) with a short run of shows that will feature just the two of them\, harkening back to their earliest days of performing.

The Grammy Award nominated Irish-American supergroup formed in 1985 to celebrate the rise of extraordinary women in what had been a male-dominated Celtic music scene. \n\n\nCelebrating their 35th anniversary\, Cherish The Ladies has shared timeless Irish traditions and good cheer with audiences worldwide. They’ve brought their signature blend of virtuosic instrumental talents\, beautiful vocals\, and stunning step dancing to the White House\, the Olympics\, and to PBS with their television special\, An Irish Homecoming\, which recently received an Emmy Award. \nThe Washington Post praises the ‘astonishing array of virtuosity’ that Cherish The Ladies bring to the stage on a regular basis. Their new album\, Heart of the Home\, embraces the gift of music passed down from generations. ‘It was the greatest gift they could give us\,’ says bandleader Joanie Madden. ‘We’re carrying on the music of our fathers.’ As their reputation and admiration from both fans and critics alike continues to grow\, Cherish The Ladies blazes forward into another decade of music making.

SUMMARY:The Premier Elvis Birthday Bash - Blue Suede
DESCRIPTION:Finally a show that shifts the focus away from the smoke and mirrors associated with Elvis tribute shows….back to what it is all about: The GREAT MUSIC. This show is packed with charismatic shake\, rattle and roll that spans the early years of Elvis’ career all the way through the Hollywood years. \nScot Bruce\, who expertly portrays Elvis’s early years\, and Mike Albert\, who delivers a truly untouchable 1970’s Elvis\, will take you well beyond the faux world of Elvis impersonators. From the time that the curtain rises and you see the stand-up bass and the rockabilly band to the close of the show as the American flag unfurls as the back-drop\, you will feel a special sort of energy that you might not have originally associated with the Elvis scene. With its attention to detail and to authenticity\, this is not a stereotyped parody of the musical icon. This is an experience that gives you the rare opportunity to bask in a much deeper appreciation of what truly crowned this man “the King” . . .
