SUMMARY:Belinda's Bewitching Tea Party
DESCRIPTION:An Enchanted Encounter at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside. Join Belinda for some magical merrymaking in the courtyard. Indulge in seasonal sweet treats and spooky mocktails\, play games\, and pick up your very own doll! \nThe special Halloween edition of Belinda is a modern interpretation of one of the most treasured items in Historic Hudson Valley’s collection at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside. The original doll is related to the Irving family by marriage—formerly a beloved companion to Theresa Romeyn Beck\, who grew up to marry Washington Irving’s great-nephew\, Cortlandt Irving. She makes appearances during special events and is a wonderful testament to the craftsmanship of 19th-century toymakers and meticulous care for over 150 years. \nThree sessions: 12 noon\, 1 pm\, 3 pm.
