SUMMARY:A Very Special Evening With Pete Yorn - You & Me Solo Acoustic
DESCRIPTION:Pete Yorn has hit numerous milestones lately. First\, his acting debut in Martin Scorcese’s Killers of the Flower Moon\, then his 9th top 10 AAA hit\, a landmark birthday and now his tenth studio album. The Hard Way (via Shelly Music) is a country-folk blend featuring Yorns’ raw vocals\, cinematic strings and vivid\, confessional lyrics. The record was co-written and produced by Josh Gudwin. The stunning and succinct 25-minute album features the introspective “Someday\, Someday\,” which Yorn debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Good Morning America in January or 2024\, and “Real Good Love\,” which he performed on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Pete performed the title track on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January of 2025. The Hard Way bears proof that it is no wonder SPIN aptly lauds Yorn as “one of his generation’s best songwriters.” \nA New Jersey native equally indebted to Bruce Springsteen’s blue-collar introspection and Lou Reed’s deadpan stream-of-consciousness\, Yorn first broke out in 2001 with his extraordinary Columbia Records debut\, Musicforthemorningafter. Hailed by NPR as one the year’s finest\, the album garnered RIAA Platinum certification on the strength of its universal acclaim as well as Yorn’s relentless appetite for the road. Rolling Stone praised it as “atmospheric\, gently lit by sunlight and regret\,” while The Guardian called it “sublime\,” and The AV Club deemed it “the first chapter in a long and exciting career.” In the decades that followed\, Yorn would go on to solidify his status as a songwriters’ songwriter\, releasing nine more critically-acclaimed solo albums and collaborating in the studio with everyone from Frank Black and Peter Buck to Liz Phair and Scarlett Johansson (Yorn and Johansson’s joint 2009 release\, ‘Break Up\,’ went Platinum in France). With a voice Consequence of Sound described as “ruined and forlorn\,” Yorn earned performances on Letterman\, Fallon\, Kimmel\, Ellen\, and more\, as well dates with artists as varied as R.E.M.\, Coldplay\, My Morning Jacket\, and The Chicks\, and festival slots from Coachella and Bonnaroo to Glastonbury and Austin City Limits

Tommy has a Grammy Award\, multiple ARIA Awards and countless accolades\, but nothing means more to Tommy than the three letters Chet Atkins designated at the end of Tommy’s name: C.G.P. The title of Certified Guitar Player was the highest honor Atkins could bestow on another player – a signifier that the recipient had not only mastered the instrument but taken it to new vistas and become a guiding light for the next generation of pickers. Like Tommy\, Chet had never gone to a university\, and the C.G.P. was his version of a PhD or a Doctorate of the guitar. He gave the honor to Tommy and only five other handpicked players. \nAs a songwriter and a performer\, Tommy is a melting pot of influences across genres\, from pop to bluegrass and jazz to rock n’ roll. To him\, music is rhythm and emotion\, all other distinctions are meaningless. Anyone who has seen Tommy play will tell you\, the vocalist is there\, as is the drummer\, the bass player and the rhythm and lead guitarists. In a way that must often be seen to be believed\, Tommy plays all the parts of a full band simultaneously\, his fingers dancing around the fretboard with a dexterity and speed that would seem impossible if you weren’t witnessing it.

SUMMARY:The Mavericks - Moon & Stars Tour
DESCRIPTION:We are beyond thrilled to welcome The Mavericks back to Tarrytown Music Hall for their always amazing Halloween run\, this time in support of their new album ‘Moon & Stars’. \nThe Mavericks have always been explorers….For decades\, they’ve created the kind of multicultural Americana that reaches far beyond America itself\, blending their favorite stateside sounds — including rock & roll\, country\, and R&B — with Tex-Mex twang\, Cuban rhythms\, Jamaican ska\, and other Latin influences. The exploration continues with Moon & Stars\, a progressive album that finds Raul Malo and company continuing to push the envelope\, exploring the outer orbits of an organic\, otherworldly sound that remains entirely their own. \n“This record took us to places we’ve never gone before\,” says frontman\, co-producer\, and chief songwriter Malo\, whose voice — a booming baritone that continues to age like top-shelf whiskey and fine leather\, becoming richer and more pliable with each album — remains one of the band’s calling cards. “It’s a collection of tales from the universe. We’ve traveled around the world\, gathering new stories and new sounds\, and this is what we have to show for it. Moon & Stars is our cosmic energy put into practice.” \nIt’s also the sound of a band that refuses to be limited by its own legacy. Three days after receiving the Trailblazer Award at the 2021 Americana Music Honors & Awards\, The Mavericks hit the highway once again\, resuming the busy touring schedule that’s kept the band in sharp shape. Joined by longtime co-producer Niko Bolas\, they recorded portions of Moon & Stars while on the road\, setting up camp at studios in Santa Fe\, New Mexico\, and Maurice\, Louisiana\, before finishing the record at home in Nashville. Tracking sessions were fast and inspired\, built around the chemistry of four musical brothers — Malo\, guitarist Eddie Perez\, keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden\, and drummer Paul Deakin — who’ve logged thousands of hours onstage together\, racking up multiple Grammy\, ACM\, and CMA Awards along the way. \nOn Moon & Stars’’ 11 songs\, The Mavericks are larger than life: not only musically\, but literally\, too\, thanks to an expanded roster that features a three-part horn section\, an accordionist\, and a guest list stocked with powerhouse singers like Nicole Atkins\, Maggie Rose\, and Sierra Ferrell. Songs like the album’s tropical title track prove there’s strength in numbers\, with Ferrell and Malo piling their voices into thickly-stacked harmonies over a Cuban charanga groove. Rose appears on “Look Around You\,” an album highlight that splits the difference between timeless country-soul and classic R&B. Saxophonist Max Abrams takes centerstage on “Here You Come Again” to channel the steamy 1980s textures of George Michael’s “Careless Whisper\,” while Atkins adds sauce and swagger to “Live Close By (Visit Often)\,” a roadhouse roots-rocker whose horn arrangement nods to the influence of Stax Records and Muscle Shoals.

SUMMARY:Colin Hay
DESCRIPTION:Tarrytown Music Hall is thrilled to welcome Colin Hay back in support of his new album Now and the Evermore. Colin first came to international fame with seminal ’80s hitmakers Men At Work. While the band would reach the heights of stardom—they took home a GRAMMY Award for Best New Artist and sold more than 30 million records worldwide on the strength of #1 singles like “Who Can It Be Now?” and “Down Under”—by 1985\, they’d called it quits and gone their separate ways. \nHay released his solo debut the following year and\, over the course of the next three-and-a-half decades\, went on to record twelve more critically acclaimed studio albums that would help establish him as one of his generation’s most hardworking and reliable craftsmen. Rolling Stone praised his “witty\, hooky pop” tunes\, while NPR’s World Café lauded his “distinctive voice\,” and late night hosts from David Letterman and Craig Ferguson to Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel have all welcomed him for performances. \nOver the course of his remarkable solo career\, Hay developed a reputation as a gifted raconteur with serious comedy chops\, and his frequent appearances at LA’s Largo club helped garner him a legion of fans in the entertainment world.

SUMMARY:Blackmore’s Night
DESCRIPTION:Legendary guitarist formerly of Deep Purple and Rainbow\, Ritchie Blackmore\, and award- winning vocalist Candice Night created a new genre of music for all ages\, inspired by melodies of the Renaissance period\, and Blackmoreized into contemporary music. They call it Renaissance/Folk/Rock. \nIn 1997\, Blackmore’s Night released their debut CD\, Shadow of the Moon\, which immediately went gold in Japan and earned multiple music awards worldwide. Meanwhile\, their devoted fan base has grown exponentially as the band performs their mystical music for all ages. From grandparents to children\, everyone is enjoying their medieval mood music and gypsy dances. \nAward winning lyricist and vocalist\, Candice Night\, contributes her unique\, entrancing vocals\, but deftly navigates seven medieval woodwinds\, including chanters\, shawms\, pennywhistles and recorders. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and celebrated guitarist\, Ritchie Blackmore\, traverses between acoustic and electric guitar\, mandolin\, mandola and hurdy gurdy. Accompanied by their minstrel band\, the collective embraces the aura of the old-world ballads to good old-fashioned Renaissance-inspired pub songs. \nAdditionally\, every one of Blackmore’s Night studio CD s has debuted in the top of Billboards charts. They have earned Awards such as “Best Album of the Year”\, “Best Vocal Album of the Year” and their sold-out concerts in castles and UNESCO sites worldwide are filled with thousands of fans dressed in Renaissance garb\, dancing and singing as if time stood still. Let the music transport you back in time and enjoy an unforgettable evening with Blackmore’s Night. \n2022 marked the official 25th Anniversary of the music of Blackmores Night. So\, wherever they play\, they always invite a local animal shelter or animal rescue organization to set up a donation table at their concert. They look forward again to helping these organizations for their upcoming shows.
