Spring Blossoms Flower Show
The Spring Blossoms flower show is a rare opportunity for visitors to experience Lyndhurst filled with sumptuous flower arrangements and to walk through the house at their own pace without a guided tour. In its heyday, the historic mansion was always decorated with fresh flowers from the estate gardens and greenhouse. But now, the mansion can be seen this way just once a year during this season’s opening event. This once-a-year event showcases the highest quality of floral talent available in and around Westchester County and includes lectures, workshops, and presentations by local horticultural clubs.
Enjoy tea in the Guest Cottage, a charming, intimate space adjacent to the mansion. The room will be decorated with flowers, fine china, and silver teapots from Seasons On The Hudson. You will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine, generously donated by My Sherry &more. The menu will include tea sandwiches, canapés, dessert and Teagevity tea, courtesy of Saint George Bistro. Guests will take home a lovely individual arrangement by Seasons. Proceeds benefit the restoration of the Lyndhurst Rose Garden.
Antiques on the Hudson’s boutique-style show presents enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to shop an array of garden antiques, period furnishings, fine art, estate jewelry, vintage and mid-century design. The show will be located in the Lyndhurst Carriage House complex in a climate-controlled tent just steps from the mansion. Admission $10 per person, good all weekend. 1/2 off for AARP members paying on-site. Admission is separate from Flower Show entry. Presented by Barn Star Antiques.
